Barry O’Farrell of the Bandon Wine Club joins forces with Anthony Tindal of Tindal Wines to give a brief history of the Irish connection with Bordeaux and a tasting of some well-known Wine Geese Wines, (including Ch Talbot, Ch Lynch-Moussas, Ch Phelan Segur, Ch Leoville- Barton), as part of a 5-course tasting menu presented by chef Kevin O’Regan.

The Dublin Bay Wine Experience is a new and innovative event.  A wine themed show offering interactive wine related events.  It will support local business by offering importers, retailers and restaurants the opportunity to sample their portfolio of wines. There will be a strong focus on global links between Ireland and the world of wine, as well as an opportunity to highlight wine brands, wine regions and wine personalities with the consumer through an interactive focus that will encourage greater knowledge of wine

[...] Also of great Wine Geese interest, is The International Wine Museum, in Desmond Castle, Kinsale dedicated to the Irish people the world over, both long ago, and current generations, involved in winemaking around the word, is well worth a visit, and of course Ted Murphy’s book, A Kingdom of Wine, The Story of Ireland’s Wine Geese, is brilliant, and this years  series of wine geese events that I am involved along with, along with Beverley Mathews, of L’Attitude51, Wine Cafe, Cork and Maurice O’Mahony, of Wine Alliance, and the broader vibrant wine commuity of Cork city and county, is very much inspired by Ted’s lifetime of work with all things Wine Geese in Ireland and around the world.
